Ok for what it is.

Honestly, there's nothing really wrong with this book, it just seems a little on the thin side. It's like the Cliff Notes version of Jack Morin's book (which I highly recommend). Oh, I suppose I should explain: I bought this for my wife so that she might get more comfortable with anal sex. After I bought this, I bought Morin's book, and that's when the real fun began. Then she proceeds to explain how and why this guide is relevant at this point in time. Let's just say that, if I'd been highlighting interesting and well-crafted sentences in her writing, the whole introduction would have been highlighted. This book just seems like it hasn't nailed down what its audience actually is. For example, the two sections of the book both begin assuming you're a rank novice who doesn't know what S&M is an abbreviation of, and who has never played dirty-cop with a sex partner. And that's great - I'm always on the hunt for beginner-friendly books, things I can pass along to my friends for education or entertainment.

But then it moves onto essays on animal roleplay, or age play, or Mollena Williams' piece on edge play that includes scenes of rape, incest, gay-bashing, and a bit where a handicapped person gets thrown out of their wheelchair and beaten, and I go "oh thank god I didn't lend this to anyone yet." Don't get me wrong - these essays are brilliantly written, informative, and interesting, and definitely worth reading, but they are probably not necessary or useful in a book that *seems* to be aimed at beginners.

A life saver! Truly this book has been such a god send. I have a massive systemic overgrowth of candida that had been misdiagnosed for over 6 years by western "doctors". Good and Simple

This is a good and very simple guide. So simple that it fails to explain some points. And I have noticed a few mistakes with recipes. But that is also an editors mistake. However, it is easy to read and understand and it gets right to the point. And I love that. I despise books that repeat things again and again. But if you are unfamiliar with Candida, you would probably need a more indepth book. If you just need a refresher or only want a surface education, this book is fine. I haven't tried many of the recipes but the ones I have tried are pretty good. But watch the salt content on the Almond Biscuits. Only use 1/4 tsp salt, not the stated 3/4 tsp. way too salty the way it is written.
